Freight to Gibraltar

I want to buy some bulky items (a fridge and a dinghy) to send to Gibraltar. Escaping VAT would also be attractive but I am being quoted freight charges of over £300 as compared to £60 to Lisbon which renders the exercise futile.

Is there any simple way of avoiding this eye watering delivery cost?

There's a company I use for shipping my paintings at very decent rates to other countries in Europe.It's a Spanish company so you'll probably get good rates.
