Freeze ban

It is distributed by Aquafax so any half decent chandler should be able to supply it. Including the well known mail order places eg

http://www.marinemegastore.com/product-product-AFX_9_90760.htm

It is also used by caravanners and mobile home owners so also try camping and caravanning suppliers. Likely to be cheaper from them.

It does contain corrosion inhibitors that antifreeze for cows probably doesn't, cheaper too it would seem.

( I wonder how you fill a cow with antifreeze  )

Ahem.

Have you seen this thread?

When looking for a FreezeBan supplier I decided to steer clear of that particular online chandlery. I also noted that none of the mainstream chandleries listed the product, at least when I was looking.

You are probably wise although they do I am sure have many satisfied customers. It's just that when thing go wrong they go very wrong.
They surely could not fail to get Freeze Ban from Aquafax ... they are practically next door to each other! ;)

I get Marine Mega Store and Marine Super Store muddled up.

We bought ours from Lee Sanitation at Fenny Compton in south east Warwickshire. However, if you're based in Staffordshire that may be too far away.

Thanks for the interest and advise.I managed to track some down @ £15.99 for 5 ltrs from Stone boat builders (nothing to do with the prisoner series) 19 miles away.
I was looking through old posts and thought the person who sugested putting in a couple of bottles of cheap vodka was an interesting idea.

I could go along with that, re commisioning, could be a more enjoyable experience, so long as you remembered and did not drive home soon afterwards.
