Haven't got a Freeserve disc, but I have a pay as you go dialup which doesn't require installing any software.

The company is Freewire.

Set up a dial up connection with 0845 028 0088, and use any name and password.

I used it when my broadband died earlier in the month and it seemed to work perfectly fine for me. It certainly saved me from hanging myself without my YBW fix /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Freeserve do a "pay as you go" service, so if you can set up a new connection yourself using either of the following numbers, you should then be able to sign up for their "anytime" service by following this link :-

http://www.wanadoo.co.uk/help/freeservepackages/notiesupgradeanytime.htm

The numbers are either 0845 079 6699 or 0844 056 4000.

Thje majority of whats on their CD will be their own version of Internet Explorer..... something you'll already have, but without all their links that you'll most likely never need!

Rubbish. You def don't need a CD. You can enter settings yourself. They want you to use CD's to do set ups, as they brand internet explorer, set home page to Wanadoo, and put advert pane onto outlook express.

Or sharpen the ends up and fling them at Brendan!!

Anyway I have been told by the SWMBO that Plymouth is on for this weekend. So I wont need to bother with you lot. Only about blocked filters, engines that have not been serviced and the cruel sea. This I can deal with, .......................hopefully!

Re: Are You Deaf Or Wot

I don't need them, sharpened edges or not (note, no ends on CD's! <G>>) I just put them in the microwave and watch them frazzle. Much easier to enter the settings than use the blinkin things wot redesign your computer for u!
