Well! Freeman Owners Club had their Rally here over last weekend and what a really nice crowd they are. For my part it was delightful to see such an array of these ever green boats. No wonder some Journalist once called them the first classic plastic boats. They truly are charming animals and a joy to behold.
Not just boats we had Camper Vans, folk staying at the Perch & Puke and a horde of dogs who seemed to be having a better time than the people. I have to say that if you are a Freeman owner and you ain't in their gang, join now. You are missing out big time.
My Missus is now at me to buy a 22 especially as I've sold my launch. Maybe I will if I really nice one comes up at a knock down price.
No doubt photos will soon be appearing there were plenty taken but not by me,

We had a fantastic weekend, the small amount of rain that fell on Ashmount (apparently we got off lightly) didn't dampen any spirits...Thankyou for allowing us to meet on your property and for spending so much time with us, everyone really enjoyed themselves and were thrilled to hear that we can return next year :)

Is the freeman on the Beetle side not a member.

No, but the name rings a bell

Tashmar gained some provenance at the Freeman 50th Anniversary taking John Freeman aboard for a cruise on
the Thames from Sheridans on his 90th birthday. I know she is in good hands and so pleased she and other Freemans are
not just being preserved but used for their original purpose.
