Anyone willing to take pity on a homeless, penniless, decrepit Aussie who wants to cadge a free ride across the Channel from France to the UK, sometime around mid September?
Actually, I do have a home and a job, am toilet-trained, and am only somewhat decrepit at 61. I'm a non-smoker, social drinker, have a good sense of humour, like candle-lit dinners and walks on the beach..... oh sorry, wrong forum for that last bit.
But while I'm on holiday and crossing the Channel around that time, it would be nice to link up with anyone who could use a hand, or would like to offer me a ride. I'm a fairly experienced sailor (I sail my 28 footer from Melbourne out into Bass Strait) and am capable of being nice for a few hours at least, and am travelling on an EU passport.
