A bit out-of-the-ordinary. Sifting the 300-odd storage crates containing departed F-in-L's accumulated tools and boaty things - his legacy to us - I discover 3 handmade jibs of beautiful creamy Egyptian cotton. A boatbuilder most of his 92 years, these he'd built for his own last small boat. They're simply too good to throw away....
We think these would enhance the looks of a modest traditional wooden boat in a way that Dacron doesn't, at traditional boat festivals such as Douarnenez. Did I mention they're hand-built, pristine and unused? They're packed in two plastic sacs, and p&p with MyHermes would be less than £20.
One: 560 x 515 x 275 Two: 380 x 330 x 215 Three: 500 x 430 x 250 Each with wire luff
One has a pair of hand-painted Springbokke....
