Thanks for the interest and encouraging comments, and thanks Giblets for noticing it and posting on the forum. I’m always loth to make too many posts myself regarding my stuff as I always fear they could be interpreted as pushy and an abuse of the forum.

Tzu, sorry you got caught in the changeover. I’m trying a five-day free trial on the book to serve as a loss leader on the sequel, ‘Finding Einstein’. Email me at the address at the end of the book and I’ll see if I can work out a way to get you a free copy of the sequel. It’ll have to be an e-book though, as Amazon won’t do free copies of the paperback. Understandable really with printing and carriage costs.

Regards from the garret.

Thanks Bob, with hindsight I can say that the words "slightly disappointed" were an overstatement. I've got the sequel tee'd up already for the tedious journey home but thanks to your offer will consider it metaphorically signed by the author.

I've always tried to look at the value of a purchase rather than the price and neither book was expensive anyway.

Back to the beach for me....

Can I just say that I read 'An Idiot Aboard' I think it was last year while on holiday and had some serious laugh out loud moments that were starting to annoy others in the house...

No probs at all however perhaps I should apologise to you for being instrumental in reducing your income stream. I do scan the freebies daily and often wondered whether it was Amazon or the author who made the decision to offer a book for free but you have answered my question.

I wondered too, and if Amazon, that the author should get paid regardless...

Good call.
Still free today.

Offer ends tomorrow. Amazon limits it to five days.

If you've enjoyed it, can I prevail upon you for Amazon reviews? They make a huge difference to sales ranking. You might also like to take a butcher's at the sequel, 'Finding Einstein' which covers Turkey and the Aegean. A snip at 2.99.

(End of shameless plug)

Interesting as there is one particular book (In The Fog by John Meany) that keeps appearing as a freebie week after week.

When I have read it I will leave a review.

Will try that one after the current one. :encouragement:

Given that it is available free (I wouldn't ask otherwise), can anyone clever convert it to a PDF for those of us that don't have Kindles??

Many thanks in advance!!
