FREE BOAT Project 18ft approx Caprice?

Would anyone like a project to take on? Boat is approx 18'' 7' and we believe it to be a Caprice. It needs lots of work and MUST be moved this week from just outside York. You would need to have a 4x4 and a trailer ready. Please pm me for further details.

Not condoning double posting as most regulars will read this anyway, but given the time scale, post this on scuttlebutt forum, it will receive a far higher readership, and deserves the viewing, as some one must want it.

Why does it need a 4 x 4? I used to trailer a pandora (GRP) and towed it with a 1.8 Cavalier. You do not say if it is built of wood or GRP? They built them out of both materials. The Caprice is small and is quite light.

The guy is trying to get rid of it for free to someone. We all know you could tow it with a mini but he's trying to make sure no-one gets hurt. BoiL to him

The boat is GRP and is moored on a river. The 'slip' is only a sloping natural bank (not concrete) which is probably very muddy by now, so I don't think it'd be safe to retrieve with anything other than a 4x4.
