Ahoy, Resident Loon here,
Am looking for free sites from which to sell my boat. Would pay but I cannot get a credit card in Japan[not native enough] and so I am limited to advertising my broken dream on the free sites. I know of onpassage.com, boats and outbacks and BO[only in the summer] but wonder if any of you wise gits know of any others?

why are you falling at the first hurdle?

Seems a bit defeatist to me, what happened to your spirit of adventure the need to travel?
 
If the boat sells, I can still travel. If the boat doesn't sell, I will continue with the dream and will fix it somehow with new friends and fellow adventurers.
Believe me, this year has nearly killed me and each time I see the boat I get pangs that I just want to be rid of[If possible, via selling her]
Shame, such a shame.
 
Are you saying it is because she holds bad memories?

I think then, if this is the case you should fly to her and stay on board alone for a week, take back ownership and dump the baggage.

I can't sit back idly after the months of chatter from you and then finding your dream boat and being in the clouds.

Don't give up on her yet.

Advertise for crew, get her sailing, get on with your trip.

Don't wimp out yet, you didn't even get started, look at John, weeks before he was to set sail in Stingo his better half walked. He got it together and sorted it! Maybe, if this kind of set back is stopping you, it is the wrong personal choice.

If she sells, it's meant to be.
If she doesn't, then I will try.
I'm in a hard place right now and am just trying to make myself a bit happier.
