Free achemides/penta 5HP

Hi all my old 5hp achemides/penta has gone u/s the coil has gone no spares available, I dont want to just bin it and I know its old but if anybody would like it for spare parts its yours for free, located north cheshire.

Have you tried matching it with a small motorcycle coil, from say a Honda 125 or similar? If you can get the spec for it, I am sure its possible, specially as its 70s tech.....
And there are loads of breakers in your area

Whereabouts in Cheshire are you?

I'm in the Chester area fairly regularly and have a shed full of old outboard bits, I might be able to make use of it.

If not it will add to the collection! (of scrap the wife tells me......)
