looking at gas for a campervan, seems the French don't do a small 6kg or so bottle with screw compression connector, just snap on. How do you lot get on for Calor or similar when abroad? I have to source fittings and regulator that will be easy to use, copper pipe from stove to gas compartment, jubilee clipped hose is a nono.

Gaslow bottle for Autogas. My bottle is 13 kg but I believe they do a 6 kg. Initial outlay will soon be recovered in the low cost of Autogas compared with bottled. And you can use it anywhere across Europe with a couple of cheap adaptors.

The range of adapters from Will Hayward might help you .... Rats ... flashy new website.

Worm drive clips are acceptable on low pressure hoses .... I don't like them on hoses that small ...... but their purpose should only be to stop the hose pulling off ... it should be gas tight without the clip.

I prefer Min hose clips for things that need regularly disconnecting / reconnecting

"Ear clips", or similar crimped clamps, are required for high pressure hoses.
