I am looking for a smaller power cat for the ocean with enough room to spend a weekend. I do not plan on long range cruising. The Highland 35, duo configuration, with lower helm looks to fit the bill. I cannot find any unbias review by owners. Anyone have personal knowledge of this boat? I would appreciate any comments. Thanks.

Looked at one back in 2007/2008. Really liked the layout, great flybridge, but quality and fitout was low key! It all worked but just fealt utilitarian. I believe they are fine at sea but be careful of wave slap on a 35ft Cat. Allow a few £'s to spruce her up for SWMBO and you should have happy, economical, sailng.

Cheers

I have to agree with Nautorious. We were looking for a sub 40ft powercat at the time and on paper this one ticked all the boxes.

Viewed at the boatshow, it felt built down to a price. The interior was functional if sparse and bits of it were not very well put together (The helm seat had come off the base, several doors had loose catches and engine hatches didnt fit).

But I would still buy one if the price was right and any issues were sorted, they give excellent volume and were very frugal.

I would equate it to the early 90's Bayliners, fun and functional.
