and if you use a laptop/desktop, the internet site is really good - swell and wave height for many locations. Just need to learn a few new French words!

Waste of time-a bit like the Acme diy time machine-just plug in and go anywhere until you need a plug back in the stone age.
So great if you have a Wifi link or 3 g phone coverage but almost impossible without.
I use the Met Office app which automatically gives you local weather plus you can also select places.You get the local 5 day plus temperature;windspeed and direction and it will work on any wireless mobile phone link however poor..
