Hi! Just thought I would share this to see if anyone has a solution.
2 years ago I stripped my Aquastar 33 hull down to bare GRP and coated in Coppercoat. This has been very successful in that on haul out the hull only needs a jetwash to return to sparkling condition. The trimtabs however are stainless steel and obviously look straight up into the sunlight with less than a foot of water over them. While I coated these in Coppercoat originally they have always grown a veritable garden of weed which is very hard to remove. I tried Trilux but this appears to be quite useless also. I am coming to the opinion that the only solution is either regular scrubbing from the dinghy or possibly using a soft abluting antifoul and renewing each year although at speed this probably will wear rapidly. What do others do? Am I missing something here?

Anything like this?

Great boat name!

I've always done mine with the trilux spray, never had more than the odd barnacle manage to cling on.
I guess the murk of the Medway means that even when just a few inches under the surface, light penetration is still virtually zero!
