My friend has just had a lift and pressure wash on his F43 and asked the yard to take some photos at the same time.

What would forum members recommend in terms of treatment for the fouled P bracket and props please?

what's the location and how long in the water? I've the same boat, in Scotland and had less growth after 2 years in. I usually antifould the p brackets, rudders and clean shaft/polish props. Just back in water last week and gained about 4/5 knts at WOT after cleaning and a/foul

I experimented with a variety of paints with generally gizmical results. Last year I installed the ultrasonic antifouling system. I expected to help me with the hull, having not much thought about prop. To my surprise, it worked for it 100%. The photo shows my prop after 7 months in the water. The shiny spots are, where all the paint (special undercoat and 2 layers of antifoul) peeled off entirely exposing the chrome-plated bronze. Spotless.DSCF1937.JPG

Out of interest which make of unit did you fit?

Just the "p;lain Vanilla " Jaycard. I don't think there are big differences between brands and couldn't see any point spending big money on a flashy name.
