Some time ago someone came up with a web-site for good quality discounted sailing clothing but I obviously failed to save it. Does anyone remember it or have a similar pet site / outlet they can recommend?

I have used a german company called prorainer. ( www.prorainer.de)
they do not sell in the uk but their clothes are good value and last forever.

My son (Yachtmaster, instructor) tells me theres a good (Musto etc) discount shop in Biscester, Oxfordshire if you can get up there. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Have you looked on ebay? often lots of 'Branded' sailing gear on there.
Also try Spindrift Marine in Essex - usually has lots of last years styles.
http://www.spindriftmarine.co.uk/ - not a good site so you have to ring them - at least they are being honest!

Last weekend I was dragged by my children around the Clarks Factory Outlet at Street, Somerset. As well as all the usual discounted stuff they had a Henri Lloyd shop.

Got some trousers for £16 --- down from £60. Polo shirts £5.

Kids spent more than I saved so out of pocket overall.

There's also a Helly Hansen discount store at the Factory Outlet at Asford Kent which usually has lots of waterproof and yottie stuff.

Second that recommendation about Spindrift - Norman is always good value, in Benfleet Essex. I have used him for years.
