St T has been away from her mud berth for all of two weeks now (from Medway to Brighton), so I was gobsmacked to see long (we're talking a foot at least) bushes of growth on the rudder, and also on the keels as I was walking along the pontoon studying her on Saturday. Very pretty really, but not ideal for actually getting any serious forward motion.
Is this normal, or do we just have truly rubbish anti-fouling? Did we actually apply pro-fouling, encouraging the stuff to grow at an alarming rate? I've just noticed that our log has stopped working too - is this likely to be as a result of the fouling? It's also worse on one side than on the other - an effect of one side of the boat spending more time in the sunsheeeine...?
Ideas, anyone?
