three things sorted due to forum help this weekend
firstly - got the heater working again thanks to Dave from East Coast Marine Heating telling me how to re-set the Mikuni
Secondly - we can now get the mainsail all the way up without resorting to a winch due to the problem sorting advice of making sure sliders smooth, and harken dry grease/lube for sail sliders
Thirdly - single line mooring using a line with a big hoop made with plastic tubing - has revolutionised our coming alongside esp as Sue has a dodgy foot and is likely to go ass over apex.
There will be more issues forthcoming as we re-fettle our new to us 30 footer to make her as good as we can
