forum meet July 14th, Cannes, anyone?

Its always nice to see the fireworks in France on July 14th, partly cos they are wonderful and ESPECIALLY cos they are paid for by other people taxes, and not ours. Or not mine at any rate.

Ahem anyway, i plan to anchor up in bay of Cannes around midday possibly with stern anchor to make sure we get decent view, so other forumites might like to come alongside if they have a boat and it's calm, or call on ch16 for a hoik aboard if they haven't and we could pickemup.

Obviously, The Boatless One has already made his reservation, so it's already an official Forum Meet. I am limited to 12+2 crew on board of which i have um 5+2 crew. Post or pm if you plan to be along.

Ah, i would definitely pay for your flights if you were very rich and worked for a large City finance firm (private joke).

Not there this year for the 14th. If anyone is around between 5th and 8th August will be out and about in a day boat, so no space but can meet up in a bay somewhere.

Wont be there July 14th week. Bad planning my part, I missed f/works last year too. Would be a good testbed opportunity to answer your how-far-can-horn-be-heard 'nundrum?

If you would move the 14th to the following week, we would come, but we don't arrive in the UK till 20th. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Going to Paris on 24th to see finish of Tour de France, however.
