Forum improvements

Hi everyone,

We've all seen a pretty dramatic decline in the reliability of the forums recently. As a result, tomorrow we are going to turn the forums off between 7:00 and 9:00am GMT in order to make some changes.

The end result should be that you will not experience any of the delays that have been disrupting usage recently. However, it does mean that we will lose the search facility as we know it and replace it with a Google search which can be refined to just YBW, but that should be clear if you log on tomorrow. See you then!

Seems to be working well. Back in service before 9o'clock too.

Old search engine still working as well.

Hallo Dan,

I have used a forum over here that automatically adds the top 5 or so searches (using your subject) to the end of your post before you start a thread. It cuts down on repeated topics!
