Clever NO 1 Daughter found the Forum and bought me a Burgee for Christmas. Now She says I need the following advice 1, can I hoist it (only posted 40 something times) is there a minimum required . 2, do I need to install optics 3 Is there a optimum bar stock level.4, Will it enhance my standing in society.5, Do I need to "dip" when passing more senior posters, 6 How do I identify more senior posters.7, Will it help me gain admission to a Royal Yacht club or a Masonic order.8 Will it last till next Christmas 9 Will it turn me into a more tolerant parent ?Smart a***se kids! Happy 2005 every one /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Those with over 1000 posts have the number sewn on the Burgee. i.e. 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000 even 5000 !!!!!

Thats the clue to licking boots /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

welcome to the forum flyers.

BarryH did take the 'have a beer' a little too far on occasions; and had damm good beer too........ /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif.......but in general it's about meeting other people who have an interest in boats - which doesn't apparently cover all the people in boats !

Dorset is the place proper BEER comes from. Also worth a try from Badger is Golden Glory, Tangle Foot. For a more mature ale go for Wynchwood Circle Master organic or for more bite Fiddlers Elbow or Hobgoblin.......as for "wheres Doeset"....its the centre of the boating universe and home of Studland Wrecked.
