if you go down to clydebank college at LW you can just see the end of one of the slips (pointing towards the cart). all that's left (except the titan crane) of john brown's.

the titan is well worth a trip up top tho.

8'6" Draft and the mast up! Aye, those were the days - and what a boon it would be now for all those round Britain sailors who could miss out all of the boring bumpy bits up north. But then a lifting bridge on the A80 might upset a few more drivers these days.
