Foriegn Sail Numbers

Hello,
I have just bought a 29ft yacht that has Swiss sail numbers ( was sailed on Lac Leman) should I remove this numbers before sailing in the UK or is it not a problem?

cant see it being a problem.
@ least you ate identifiable unlike most new plastic fanfastics that have NO MARKINGS @ ALL

I don't think there is any law about what numbers you put on your sails. The UK "registration number" is carved into the bulkhead, if you have one.

No problem with sailing about with swedish numbers - if you wish to replace with UK numbers contact RYA who can issue you with a unique GBR number.

This is all I did, now GBR8055T, was H2184.
