does this animation of the weather system passing over the UK at present support the forecast? from an inexperienced eye (mine) it appears to suggest a double swirly thing is building to the west

Could someone please translate the bit in red please? I have no understanding of what this means, is this what is meant by short term memory loss, I've only been retired for four years and already have lost my memory of the meaning of the red bit, is it like going to the boat tomorrow and the next day and the nex..................................

Forecast was correct.......Hurst Castle at midnight ......78 knots!

Thanks, much appreciated. I have been advised my boat is still where I left it yesterday! It's well chocked, acro'ed and roped to unmovable points (hopefully) so I'm hoping for the best.
