About two months ago I purchased a hand held VHF radio from Force 4.
Last Friday I plugged it in to its mains charger and nothing happened, so I sent an email to Force4 telling them about the problem and asking for details of the voltage required and polarity of the connections for charging. That would allow me to charge the thing from a bench power supply.
Within less than two hours I had an email from Yaesu ( the company trading as Standard Horizon ) with the electrical details I needed and an offer to post a new charger to me. I also received a 'phone call from Force4 asking if I needed any assistance.
I have no connection to either Force 4 or Yaesu other than as a delighted customer.
