Anyone know where i could buy replacement thermocouples for a force 10 cooker in London? heard that you can get them in southampton but bit out of tghe way for me.
It may not be the thermocoulpe causing the problem. Take the knob off in case it's travel is limited by the knob touching the frame.
On my Eno cooker, to fix this problem, I had to clean the electrical circuit as well as take the knob off. I used metal polish on all the contact threads that comprise the circuit, including the aluminium nut. I have had problems before with aluminium, used in low voltage circuits, probably because of the surface oxide. I then had to take some material off the back of the knob.
