Very scary, lucky they got him back unharmed so quickly.
Tragically, an acquaintance, friend of a close friend has recently lost his life going overboard from a Trans Atlantic trip 4 days out from Faro. Full story not yet clear but sounds as if he was clipped on but lifeline broke. The yacht had suffered a knock down. They managed to pick him up but he was dead on recovery.
So clip on, but also check and replace vital equipment such as harnesses and lifelines regularly?
