For those I let down with lack of McLaren P1 pics

Some months ago I happened to mention that we are only a spitting distance away from McLaren in Woking, and every new McLaren built fuels up from us... then I happen to mention one day we had 4 P1's filling up at the same time and I got a barrage of abuse (which was fair) as I had not taken a photo...

So, to try and make it up for those car buffs out there... we have been getting these in for the last few weeks... McLarens new baby.

But today as I was wondering about these two appeared.. now sadly I do have a passion for cars.... so long as they are old.. this new stuff doesn't really do it for me.. but just trying to redeam myself!

I was told by someone the fact the factory was built on greenbelt land has something to do with the quantity of fuel it can store..

My sister in law used to work there, some of the stories she has about the factory and the attention to detail are staggering!

every new McLaren is test driven on a circa 10 mile route, and every new McLaren is coated with this blue masking tape to avoid any stone chips. I think a mile of tape is used on each vehicle...

Ha! indeed we are not cheap, but for the most premium fuel brand in the UK you would expect to pay more... wouldn't you?

More to the point we are not in Fareham, we are just off J11 of the M25 & if folks don't fuel up with us then they can fill up on the M25 and pay another 10ppl

I fuelled up there once when I'd been stuck in a queue on the Guildford Road for about an hour watching the distance to empty drop towards single figures.

Had I known who owned it I might've asked for the standard forum discount

Indeed Martin, standard forum discount would certainly apply....

We have on average 1500 people filling up a day so I dare say a few forum folk have visited our little business.

Yes left of my own choice to join the RAF. Was only there for a bout 3 months just after finishing my training with another large group in the area. Cant really remember to much about the people who worked there now.

The largest rear wing I have ever seen on any car!! the noise it made was scary, and as I write this post I can here it driving past our site again... its unmistakable.
