HAM operator arrested in Greece

Recent news report from Greece that an amateur radio operator had been arrested on the Greek island of Kos. He was reportedly taken into custody for the crime of espionage, which was subsequently reduced to operating amateur radio equipment. This came about even though both Greece and the operators home country are both signatories to the CEPT pan-European Amateur Radio licensing agreement.

Most hams don't care about their callsign seeing as how you can look them up online.
