Foot pump leaking.

Hi all,

When i turn my electric water pump on water shoots out of the top of this.
I took a photo, but can't quite read the make on the side of it.
Can anyone tell what it is called or what make it is so i can research whether its repairable or whether i need a new unit please?

Could be a whale foot pump. My last boat had one mounted below the water-line to pump sea-water for the galley sink. When the diaphragm developed a pin-hole, sea-water leaked continuously into the bilge. Take care!

Another for a whale foot pump. Should be able to get a service kit for it unless it is a fractured casing. A nice pump and easy to use, well mine has been and will hopefully carry on.

Thanks everyone, it's only for my fresh water tank. I'll take some hose fittings with me tomorrow, disconnect it and take a proper look.
