Tonight I have chucked out a lettuce I purchased 13 days ago in a carrefour in Honfleur. This is I believe far longer than supermarket products here.
When purchased it wasn't shrink wrapped with a best before date, etc.
The public in this country has got what it wanted; cheap food, but it is grown to a price and imo is ****e.
