Follow on from Kenwood Radio in boat ..

I've been searching for speakers in boxs to fit to my boat .. without having to cut holes. The type we all had on our rear parcel shelves as go-faster lads in our first cars !
Checked so many sites ... shops ... online etc. - nothing ... all speakers without enclosures.

It's making me wonder whether to try PC Media speakers ... basically open up box, remove power bit and wire speakers direct ? keeping the box to mount neatly ..

I bought the four we have in our saloon from Halfords. About ten years ago now, but there was quite range to choose from then.

Can't remember the make we chose off-hand, but they have been excellent.

Worth a try.

Many companies provide plastic enclosures to fit the speaker in, so you can mount on a flat surface.

I've got 4 Kef Egg speakers, wall mounted. Home hifi quality.

I just used Goodman bookshelf speakers. HiFi onboard!!

I bought these . Cheap enough though you'll need to make some brackets.
