I am thinking about a folding pro on my E30, however the skeg hung rudder is 'very' close to the prop. Is there a 'small' prop on the market or has anyone done this?
There is no folder that will fit, nor will my favourite the Brunton. Possible options are the Maxprop or the Kiwi which feather so don't fold back and bang the rudder. I had a 3 bladed fixed on my Liz which allowed better handling astern and brakes, but a 2 bladed fixed can be made to line up with the skeg to reduce drag but it is hassle.
Yes there is and it is excellent. I have it on my 29' Trintella, which has a small space behind the keel, before the rudder. It is also good value.

I know what you mean when you say that there is very little space between the prop and the rudder, as on my Hummingbird 30, infact my two bladed prop has that much fouling on it that it is almost touching the rudder, and I recon that it is causing a fair loss of power.
I wouldent recommend fitting a folding prop on your E30
