Can any one identify this folding prop? (Sorry for the poor pictures but the boat is still in the water)

It's the factory fitted folding prop for a Beneteau Oceanis 40 2008/9

I'm about to haul the boat out to replace the anode but want to make sure the parts are on hand when she's out.

I've been in contact with the Beneteau Dealer but I'm not sure I will get the right information - she was a bit unsure.

Thanks again for any information.

EDIT - I guess I should mention that the engine is a 3J4HE = a puny 29KW..

Whoever fitted a three-bladed to a Beneteau didn't spend wisely. Due to the thick skeg housing the propshaft on Beneteau's a lot of the benefit of a three-bladed is lost. A two-bladed is actually more efficient and a lot cheaper.

I replaced the anode on the folding prop this morning while the boat was IN the water by diving on it with a snorkel! The anode looked so bad I didn't have the nerve to leave it any longer - well until i can pull her out.

it went remarkably smoothly, I un-bolted the old one with a bike tool which had all the different Allen keys together in one tool - the main bolt wasn't seized and came out easily !! I tied everything to string and floats just in the case I dropped something.

I also matched a couple of spare bolts - also in case I dropped one..

Bolting on the new anode was just as straight forward - although, I had to partially cure the Locktite onshore on the main anode bolt - which I know doesn't really work - before bolting it on underwater... I cranked the anode on tight but hopefully not too tight - and will check on the bolt as time goes by.

I wonder if there's some sort of Locktite for under sea water?

Any chance you could amplify your reasoning? We have a 3 blade folder ( Volvo prop ) and it works well.
