Folding things is womens work - they're simply better at it than us. Must be the genes.
SWMBO is in charge of a number of items - folding (flaking comes in this category), webbed items (dingy bag etc), paper items and security - it's amazing what these categories can be stretched to cover!
All in the cause of the fair division of labour. When we recently needed to get the animals off our prop it was me that went into the cold water and did it. I commented to her that in truth she hadn't even considered offering to do it - she freely admitted this was the case.
Ditto folding!
(what would we do if we had a folding prop - now there's a conundrum!)

Last year in Pontrieux a man on a nearby boat dropped his folding bike into the water. I was very impressed by the way his wife uncomplainingly stripped and dived in for it. Could she have been your SWMBO, by any chance?

Hmm not a bad fight back BUT I do all those things myself as I haven't trained my kids to do them properly yet...
plus I winterised the boat engine and fixed the heads this year...

Stripped to a rather small bikini. Fine looking woman as I remember. Washed the bike and oiled it afterwards. Useful sort of person to have on board.
