Fold up table (like moody 29)

Not sure of the exact construction of the Moody one, but having made a similar table for my boat, the major issues are (1) getting the hinges strong enough, particularly to take sideways load when the table is stowed and (2) a firm mounting for the leg - I used an eye bolt through the base into a threaded plate set into the floor. A strut bracing back to the underneath of the table would help. As for the folding leaf, this can either fold on top of the table before stowing - easy to arrange, or underneath as in the Moody so it covers the folded leg and any leaf supports, more complicated but neater when stowed. Leaf supports can be either swing out or as I used, sliding bars. Make sure you have a secure method for holding it stowed as the whole assembly ends up pretty heavy.

Think if I were doing it again, I would not bother with folding, but just have it easily removeable with brackets on the forward bulkhead and a tubular pillar at the aft end into a socket on the floor.
