Reversed the Pathfinder into a tree and broke drivers side light cluster. Only replacement I can find has clear lens over fog light. Is it legal just to put a red bulb in this?

OK I would think unless mismatch between port and starboard side is not allowed. Ask the man who does your annual survey.
