Fog in the Solent this morning!!

It's 6.30, I sitting here at my computer and I can hear the fog signals going full blast in the Solent. Still, the sun's coming up so it should burn it off fairly sharpish.

Yep and here too

Its 0800 and Puerto Solento is still very misty. Cannot see the hill nor Portchester Castle .


Sun will soon burn this murk away before B'fast.

Fog ? Nice clean fog ? Here am I, sitting in my office, in the middle of a factory, in the middle of Birmingham, in the middle of summer, surrounded by SMOG.

Fog ? You should be SO lucky.

Mind you, come Friday I'm off to France/Normandy and the CI for two weeks. So no fog then please.

V murky in Cowplain at 06:30. St James' Hospital, view from window is of pale blue sky, no obvious wind and stuck in the office. Still, my son turns 11 today so a small jolly to come.
