Fog affecting airports this morning, when will it clear?

Hi,

I know this is not directly related to sailing, but I thought some of you may know people who are affected by the fog today, so this might be of interest.

Fog is causing major problems across central and SE England today, and affecting northern France, the Low Countries and Germany too. This video (online by 10am) gives the latest forecast for the clearance of the fog through today, tonight and tomorrow.

Been quite a bit of fog lately in Thames Estuary. A little at moment, but not bad.

Can't watch online videos though, too bandwidth hungry. Why does everything on the web have to get bigger and bigger, forgetting those of us with limited access?

Sorry Simon, bit of a rant there, and not aimed at yourself. Rather more general, borne out of frustration. I guess being out in it, I don't need to be told there is fog... Ha.
