Hi Coliholic, spot on XF diesel 3.0 just got back yesterday from Wales via Santander ferry, 640 miles from santander to home (costa del sol) average speed 73mph average MPG 35.5 not bad I reckon, and thats running in so maxed at 2200 rpm. A cracking car, a true grand tourer :~) Apparantly once the engine lossens up it will do even better MPG

mjf.......question about not buying in Spain erm, would have been about 35% more expensive over here, dont forget the 12% matriculation tax on new Spanish vehicles, plus the Spanish car dealers in seem to be denying the recession.

Buy the way Coli sorry I missed out France would have been nice to meet up again. Maybe if you come the the Costas yes?
