A lot of ribs I see are just hard boats with a thin tube around, what makes a rib a rib or is it just a fashion thing /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I might put some tubes round mine for when I have to drive into Yarmouth for the forum meet and park up for the first time in my new boat /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I saw someing like this last Thurs on the Thames.

A sort of Nelson looking boat but it was a RIB with enclosed accomodation/pilot house.

Went past too quick to photograph it.
