We have dual station Raymarine Hybrid-Touch plotters. I have the Navionics card installed at the lower helm. This sounds like its a stupid question... but does the Flybridge repeater need a card too? I was used to an old Raymarine model on my 2004 42 and am sure it had only one card in the master display. At the end of my first trip on Thursday I came below and noticed that the lower helm appeared to be showing far more detail than the Flybridge plotter which I had been using all day. This may just be something in the settings I need to sort out, but I noticed the Flybridge plotter had a card slot too, which has made me wonder? I had no time to investigate before leaving the boat yesterday. (If it does need two separate cards Im a bit surprised that those who sold me the card, and went on board to fit it in, didn't sell me two!) Any advice appreciated. Thanks
Rick

They should be networked so will require one card only. If they have been installed as two standalone units, you would need a card in each. Like you say, most likely a settings issue.

Hi Rick,

Sorry for the thread drift, but just wanted to say that I passed you when you were leaving the River Hamble onboard Cloud9 on Thursday, and I must say Cloud9 looked fantastic, and made me very envious, especially as my 20ft Finnmaster 61ca could nearly fit on your bathing platform!!

I hope your trip to the West Country was uneventful, and that Cloud9 met your expectations.

Cheers, Allan

I have E97 at lower helm with navionics card installed. E95 on flybridge reads chart data from lower helm plotter.

To see if your flybridge plotter is networked go to

Setup menu > maintenance > data master

It should bring up list of MFD's if you don't see your other MFD listed, may not be networked or there's a problem with networking. If you do see other MFD, select the one with navionics card as data master.

Hi Allan. Thanks. I have been waiting a while longer than planned for everything to be completed before the handover, but none of that mattered as we motored into the Solent in the sunshine on Thursday afternoon. We really were on Cloud9!
It was a lovely trip to Torquay, the only problem was that I was on the flybridge in direct sunshine for 5 hours.... without sunscreen! I now look like Ive had an accident with a bonfire..
Hope you had a good day on the water too.
Rick
