My boats going into a marina, its usually kept on a trailor and i flush the outboard after every use. There doesnt seem to be any facility to flush the engine whilst its moored, how long can i leave the engine before it requires flushing? Christ just read that back and im confused so God help you lot! Yellow antifoul CAN YOU GET IT????

Re: not a prob

I would expect no problem. Many outboards are left on all season without flushing, for boats that stay in the water. I have an outboard boat that is left on a saltwater mooring for several weeks a year, never had significant corrosion, done that for 20 years. Dont worry about it.

Mercury used to advise leave the leg down so the anode is immersed. Praps they still do, not looked at their manuals lately. I prefer to tilt it up, esp in shallow water, and fit a second anode on the transom connected to the bit of the outboard that is bolted to the transom
