Flushing D6 with Rydlyme

I am sure there are many things that can substitute for Rydlyme that were not designed for this specific marine use. But like Jimmy I just dont think the calculated risk is worth it. Why save a tenner or so when the consequence will cost many many times more should there be an issue. It's like using Y10. We all know what the active ingredient is and how to make it ourselves. Few bother, it's pennies and a little goes a long way.
 
Thanks for your responses which has got me thinking some more. Bearing in mind she will be in the water, my initial thought was to introduce sufficient to fill the circuit as I won't be able to set up a continuous "loop". What I was thinking was adding some food colouring so that when I was filling someone on the pontoon could see when it was emerging from the outlet. In that way I know I have filled the circuit, and then leave it for 30 minutes before starting the engine to flush. Based on this theory, and comments above :-

1) assume I use rydlyme, how many litres would fill the circuit, and should it be neat, or a diluted solution. If diluted, what ratio?
2) I think the exit is from the exhaust, and whilst I am targeting the heat exchangers, could I be damaging another part of the circuit which is a softer metal like aluminium, as commented above, particularly if I leave it to "fizz"
3) Is it just a case of [carefully] pouring the liquid in the strainer "bucket" and let gravity take over, or will it need more coaxing / forcing. I have an old shower sump bilge pump that can give pressure, but am conscious of splattering acid in an engine room.

I don't want to ignore Volvopaul who pointed this weakness in our survey over a year ago, and whilst we ran her for almost 100 hours last year at a rock solid 85 the local VP agent has quoted €2200+iva which based on Volvo Paul's advice is a cost I have resigned myself to. Based on this I am thinking prevention rather than cure, but on the other hand, don't want to bugg3r something else up in the process...
 
are your exhaust elbows and strainers above or below the waterline? If above there is no reason not to do a propper job and circulate. I fear that with the fizz you will creat air bubble / locks that will prevent fresh Rydlyme access to complete the job. You do need to circulate imo
