Does anyone have any experience with these?

I can get my head around that they would provide a stabilizing effect in 'steady' rolly conditions. I.e. with regular spaced waves they would counteract rythmic rolling. How do they work out for the chaotic chop we often get in the Med?

Are there conditions when all the water ends up on the downhill side and ends up making the rolling worse?

As you hadn't received any replies, I have bumped this up. Could you give a bit more detail on how the system operates please, as I am not familiar with it?

Feadship used them decades ago before zero speed fins were invented or at least widely available, It was more that just waves - the water in the tank passed over a weir so there was a sudden cliff-edge part of the profile of the water transfer from side to side. I think the weir height "tipping point" was adjustable. Obviously they have all been ripped out these days because the space usage is huge, and I have no direct experience
