I'm looking for someone to spray a forehatch and 2 air cowels with flourescent paint (ideally a 2 pack).

I've been trying to find someone working with the 'safety' industry (road maintenance / rescue services etc.) who might use such paint but have so far been unsuccessful.

Does anyone know of such a company in the Midlands / South of the country?

Thanks

Flourescent paint

I wonder if you mean "Dayglo" paint ie a colour that stands out usually in orange or green. If you have a paint in mind then consider brushing the paint. If not you need to find the paint you want used first. That might lead you to application requirements.
Flourescent might on the other hand mean a paint that actually glows int he dark, They used to use radioactive paint but OH*S might hav es topped that since.
I thin road type paint uses tiny prisms in the paint to produce reflectivity. Sorry probably no help at all olewill

Halfords do aerosols of fluorescent paint.

If you are want to paint soft plastic air vents then make sure that the primers will work. It's not any easy material to get paint to stick to.

I sprayed a radar relector after using a suitable primer and the adhesion was OK. The paint does seem to fade rather quickly in sunlight though and would see if any paints are more UV resistant than others. Mask everything off that you don't want paint on and spray thin gentle coats across. Two or three thin coats will be easier and give a better finish that trying to cover the whole thing in one go. It's not that scary or difficult to do.

If you are in a boatyard pick a windless day to spray to avoid irate neighbours.....

Why 2 pack? Just get a couple of rattle cans of paint from Halfords and off you go.
