The first photo is labelled "Thames", but the rest seem to be from 'all over'.

I was amazed at the size of some of the pumps - one of the pics shows a lorry load of elbows - they're massive ...

The pics of the pumps are at Dunball in Somerset. The intention is to pump water from the Kings Sedgemoor Drain into the River Parrett, and then water from flooded moors further inland can be pumped into the KSD in order to relieve the upstream sections of the rivers Parrett and Tone. However, pumping has been suspended (hopefully not for long) because the volumes of water thrown out by them running full blast have been damaging the banks of the Parrett, which could cause real problems........
