Flipper 760

A 'new-to-boating' friend has a Flipper 760 which suffers from sloppy steering and one 'tight' spot. He has had the cable renewed to no effect and wonders where next. The steering is complex to say the least with linkages and a 'ram' which may well provide some sort of servo assistance. Help from any Flipper owners much appreciated
