Flight Cancelled to Corfu

So, thanks to the Strikes tomorrow, Bryanair just cancelled tonight's and tomorrow's flights to Corfu. Ok no big deal, but trying to cancel them and get the refund was a nightmare.
Firstly, their website didn't recognize my name, then kept on hold, on their phone line for over 10 mins (gave up) then tried their Live Chat thingy, nope...no one available....
So, went back to the on-line cancelling link and entered the wife's name...it worked!! Funny that, as it was all booked in my name, and my credit card paid for it...

Not their fault for the strikes, but I now, do I trust them??
Of course I don't, just booked our next flights with Sleazyjet instead.

Just found on their website, that Bryanair have cancelled over 45 flights, in and around Greece for tomorrow...that's over 17,000 passengers....!! No wonder I couldn't get through on the phone or the Live chat thingy....
Still going with Sleazyjet, next time though...

Hope you don't have to do a claim with them. could be a nightmare going by my experience which ended up in the Small Claims to get them to respond. Won, of course but what hard work over 4 months.

Don't try and use any Hellenic lawyers - they're on strike until 15th.
Apparently they object to becoming subject to VAT.

Whoever it is that's that dodgy with the sums, let's hope he doesn't work out the fuel loads

Ooops, my mistake, actually it was 90 flights, hence the 17, 000 passengers!!
