Fitting my 2 blade flexofold hub to my 25mm shaft, and it would appear some of the key is still exposed when I offer the hub up to the shaft. Is this normal? Looks like the hub isn't going all the way up the taper...

It's usual for the key not to extend forward of the hub.
If the hub goes further up the taper without the key in place, then the key is too high and needs filing, the tapers won't be mating properly until that is done.
The crucial requirement for a flex-o-fold hub is that sufficient shaft thread extends from the aft face of the hub for the retaining nut to clamp the hub with plenty of thread engagement, but not to bottom on the small end of the shaft taper. I'd reckon on 3 to 5 mm clear as OK.The fitting instructions are somewhere online.
I think you'd notice if the tapers were mismatched.

Drat, wrong hub sent - shortly after I posted that I tried the nut on the shaft - didn't fit! I've sent it, along with the old prop and nut, to Flexofold to make sure they send me the correct hub back. Thanks for the responses!
